I wonder wat is dis deal vth being Judged.Y all actions have 2 b dependent on "wat others will thnk".For sum of us it mite nt b true,but den for majority of the population,dis precisely is a deciding factor.
From hanging out vth a certain set of frnds,to the kind of clothes u chose to wear,to having an individualistic thought process,to making certain choices in life,to having a certain lifestyle, everthngs Judged!
Now I cum from a splendid city called Jaipur.Acc to people dis evil is more rampant in so called smaller cities(dis term makes me feel sick).But to my amazement dis wonderful sentiment is more prominent in a metro like Delhi.
People here will go to any extent,just 2 b socially accepted.(no offense)That kinda explains the origin of the terms "drinking socially"or "smoking socially" nd so on nd so forth.
Acc to me u either drink or u dnt or may b at times u do and those times happen only wen u so desire. But the irony is dat here other people decide whether u wil b drinkin or nt nd dat 2 hw much.And God forbid.if u say Nooo,wat will people think!!
To Each his own! I for once believe in doing things my way.Dat dsnt mean i'm a rebel.It just means dat its my life nd i get 2 live it only once.So i wud rather live it d way i want 2 rather dan stressing bout peoples opinion.They do matter.But only wen the people in question are my near ones.Society in general doesnt affect me.So heres to having opinions,individuality,or best put having a LIFE!! (And the Judgement Begins :-) )

Let me first congratulate u on the wonderful thoughts put forwd but thought apt to put my feelings on the same.
i lik u also do face this (phenomenon) where peoples opinion play a major factor on ones decision in every aspect of life.
I wld rather categorize this behaviour with 2 sets of people.1. those who u say as near & dear
2. those who share space in ur life ex office / colony etc
I feel the category 2.set judgements bout you either out of curiosity ( cause they hardly know you) or Insecurity ( want to compete with you). One shld actually feel good on those "Judgements" because it makes you more alert and helps you decide on ur actions.Yes caution here is tht we normally get bogged on with this pestering and virular judgements getting floated everywhr which starts affecting ones life.
however the category 1 set which we call as near ones ( may include people who really care bout u nt being in the family) are the ones we should always take opinions.Opinions are smtimes read as judgements which i feel is smthing which each of us have to introspect.I agreee tht "Its my Life nd we live it once" but we as individuals and "HUMANS-(Hate this species but anyways) falter lot of times beacuse of this silly organ reffered to as HEART.
I second ur thoughts on saying that one mst do wht one wants --however silly beacuse u dont get a second chance in Life BUT take those opinions very seriously .its only in a long term one wld understand what it means and smtimes its too late in life to then go back in the past and undo.
U for once may believe in doing things your way but there is that smbody who is unbiased and protecting you frm those evils by way of "JUDGEMENTS"(the Title of the STORY).
